The Daylight Concerts are a series of free afternoon shows at the beautiful Union Chapel in North London.

The 4th in the series features Pulsar and Codes in the Clouds on the 9th May.

On Pulsar:

Pulsar’s music grabs you from inside and takes you through different states of mind characterized by slow, lengthy instrumental passages, dominated by analogue synthesisers, experimental guitar work, booming cymbals and hypnotic wind instruments, culminating in catchy melodies and carefully manipulated beats, and all dramatically punctuated with visuals from the dark and dangerous side of psychedelic space.

So fasten up your seat-belts, prepare for lift off and let the multi-layered space odyssey begin. Pulsar are a sonic experimentation and a visual feast.

On Codes in the Clouds:

Instrumental rock music is experiencing a new peak in England. Codes In The Clouds, the quintet of Morahan, Peeling, Smith, Major and Power from Greater London/Kent have found a firm place in this vast growing post-rock scene. With their harmonious and blissful sound they weave guitar melodies, liable to explode any minute. If you still can’t imagine intense music without vocals then you will be surprised how easily these boys will let you forget this prejudice. Energetic and charming at once, surprising and unpredictable at all times.
