Firstly thanks very much to everyone who came along to March’s Pin Ups, it was another great night in what has now been a string of total winners. Thanks also to all the bands and DJs. Fuzzy pictures of all the action (taken by Paul T Smith on his phone) are in the gallery at www.pinup-nights.co.uk , and more professional ones will be added later this week.

April’s Pin Ups will be headlined by frenetic Norwich 4 piece THE KABEEDIES ( www.myspace.com/thekabeedies ). We don’t often put on “out of town” bands but we noticed a bit of a buzz about the Kabeedies on several blogs and liked what we heard. Support on the night comes from VENDOR DEFENDER ( www.myspace.com/vendoedefender ) and ANY COLOR BLACK ( www.anycolorblack.com ).

There will also be the usual Pin Ups dancefloor tomfoolery led by John D ., James "Butcher" Cassidy, Iain OC, Paul and Young Niall, and this month we will also be joined by Guest DJs MARKO from FANGS, MUTINY! (Roz from Glasgow’s Miss the Occupier and her friend from L.A. Kim Terrell) and Stirling band JACK BUTLER (visiting Pin Ups to put on some tunes and have their album launch after party).

And last but not least we’ll be launching what we hope will become the Flying Duck’s delicious £2 signature drink – QUACK AND COKE!

So, just another quiet night at Pin Ups then. Incidentally in case you’re wondering what the flyer is all about, we just thought it would be a laugh to use a load of mugshots. See if you can identify them all! We’ll round up with some lovely quotes about the Kabeedies:
