POLTERGROOM
Please have had to cancel their tour with Mucky Sailor due to unforseen & unfortunate circumstances; one of them lost his job, girlfriend and house all in the very same day, and has consequently decided that playing some rock concerts should take less priority than finding shelter and income. Chinchilla wishes him the best of luck, and we look forward to seeing Please later in the year. However, all is not lost. Keebie's other band, Poltergroom, have laid down the gauntlet, and will replace Please for the tour. Chinchilla has long shared a fascination with Poltergroom, and they have made several appearances at our previous gigs and festivals - they have also toured the UK and continental Europe several times, with tour partners such as the esteemed Bilge Pump.
MR. S. Williams, plays fire and brimstone.
MR. Shakeeb Aba Shanti, plays battery.
MR. Lawrence Apple Hampton plays waynes world limited edition stratocastor.
Influences: Magic The Gathering
Sounds Like: Fowl, fledgling, nestling, feathered friend, budgie
As a collection of humans, members of Poltergroom also play in PLEASE, MAN AUBERGINE, CLECKHUDDERSFAX, ISAMBARD KINGSTON BRUNEL, ROB COLLINS AND THE RETAILS, KIDS LE FRANCE and many of the famous DENESH SHAN'S realised and mostly unrealised projects.

MUCKY SAILOR
MUCKY SAILOR is Gus and Steve from Leeds. Self-styled tropical/thrash/disco-house mentalists of toweringly subversive art rock. Their first single on British Wildlife Records was recorded in the cavernous interior of Leeds’ Corn Exchange (a Victorian trading hall-cum-shopping centre built in 1864). To bag such a speaker-blowing recording space, Gus spent a Saturday afternoon tinkling easy listening classics for old ladies in said shopping centre. Turgid vocals part growled, whispered and whined, part bellowed and crooned, backed by a sparse musical map of synth, electric piano and drums. Dirty and demented pop performed on the same 88 keys that revived the career of noel Edmunds with the 'Deal Or No Deal' theme tune. Piano and drum duo compared to black metal, BBC Radiophonic Workshop and Luther Vandross.
OH! ALSO! LOOK AT THIS! NEW INSTRUMENT USED BY MUCKY SAILOR... MENTAL!!

BEARDS
BEARDS are three outstanding beasts of nature residing in Leeds; The Dickosaurous, The Clairedactil and The Kathodocus. Their persuasive basslines and bullish vocals turn the air blue as two of them hop between drums, bass and keys, leaving you struggling to stand still amongst their day-glo retro mollusc outfits. Fresh from recent Euro tour schennannegans with Cleckhuddersfax!
