Having got 2009 off to a cracking start in January, Wonky Pop are excited to announce the line-up for February’s installment of the monthly celebration of joyously offbeat pop music.

Heading up the live bill will be Brighton’s indie-pop heroes The Maccabees, returning from their hiatus as they put the finishing touches to their much-anticipated second album. We’re also privileged to welcome the UK’s next pop superstar, Little Boots, for an exclusive DJ set and a great chance to hear what’s informed her delicious taste in synth-pop.

Another pop princess will join us for a live performance: VV Brown will be demonstrating what a VV exciting talent she is, with her Motown-influenced pop destined to dominate radio airwaves in 09. The DJ line-up also welcomes Disco Bloodbath demonstrating their impeccable taste in dancefloor grooves alongside Nick ‘Grimy’ Grimshaw, Ronnie Joice and Wonky residents Kris De Angelis and Goldierocks. Room will be hosted by Smash & Grab, with indie royalty the Queens of Noize joined by Human Snap & Tickle and special guests
