VOTE SAD DAY FOR PUPPETS!
*** The next single on Sonic Cathedral Recordings is by Swedish superstars in waiting Sad Day For Puppets. Released on March 2, it's a double A-side featuring 'Marble Gods' (which sounds like a cross between the first Concretes album and Dinosaur Jr circa 'Where You Been') and 'Big Waves' (think Lush covering a long-lost Everly Brothers tune) and will be available as a download and a limited edition seven-inch. It's available for pre-order now from: http://www.soniccathedral.co.uk/shop.html
*** 'Marble Gods' has already been selected by Mark Radcliffe & Stuart Maconie as one of the four tracks in the Pick'n'Mix on their Radio 2 show. The public votes for their favourite and the winner gets played every night on their show. So, right now, your Sonic Cathedral needs you! Please take a second to vote by emailing 'Sad Day For Puppets' to radcliffe.maconie@bbc.co.uk before 12noon on Monday (February 2) and encourage as many other people as you can to do the same. Together, we can win this! There are more details here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/radcliffemaconie/picknmix.shtml
*** Finally, Sad Day For Puppets are coming to London for a couple of Sonic Cathedral shows on February 22 and 23, alongside fellow Swedes The Deer Tracks. Tickets are available at: http://www.wegottickets.com/soniccathedral
