This quartet of Japanese girls play frenetic garage rock'n'roll with a drummer who appears to be the happiest sticks basher in music, a bassist rocking from side to side like Pheobe from "Friends" on industrial strength prozac, a laconic guitarist, and a vocalist who stretches out on the floor, legs in the air, flashing her stockings as she screams blue murder into the mic. Apparently, they're always worth seeing - and especially for their version of "Wooly Bully" at the end. And they sing in Japanese!

These German ladies bash out their heart and soul-poppin’ sonic nuggets using vintage equipment and with classic garage and punk influences but the noise they make is very much NOW! With so many old fogies zig-zagging across the world making money for their pensions, it’s a pure pleasure to discover a bunch of young ladies who have the energy and presence to make it seem like maybe you haven’t seen and heard it all. It’s a treat for the ears and the eyes, no matter what your persuasion. Trich's sassy singing and bass attitude along with Christina's command of the big beat provides a rockin’ solid foundation. Laura’s Dan Electro action blends with Tine’s rhythm licks to create a fuzz-infused wall of sound that is so direct that you'll wonder what the heck just hit you. And like all special acts throughout history, they have a knack of mixing originals and covers in a way that you can’t see the joins. You just wonder where they've been all your life.
and opening up proceedings are local contenders...

The DeRellas play old school raw-edged punk-pop with a bit a Ramones/Damned/Sham 69 rock’n'roll vibe - no messing, straight down the line, no-budget, in your face, glam-tinged, no-hope, punk pop ‘n roll – and, importantly, they actually have some tunes. Plus, they sound like they’re having a blast.
