GUNRUNNER
Bass guitarist Neil Podmore born in Longsight Manchester, first picked up a guitar at the age of 12 and grew up influenced by an eclectric range of music, particular favourites being David Bowie and Led Zeppelin. Neil spent many years following and working with the band Crispy Ambulance then called Ram Ram Kino, which provides inspiration for much of GUNRUNNERS' style. Being the most experienced member of the band, naturally leads to Neil providing the focus and giving the other members direction. Neil has honed his bass playing style to perfection, its unique, different and much admired by fellow bassists. Matt Peel Started playing guitar at University under the influence of bands such as the Manics, Doors, Clash, Smiths, AC/DC and Led Zepplin amongst others. Access to the Manchester circuit started with writing, recording and gigging with REAL LIES in 2005, until their break up in early 2008. LITTLE TREMORS
"...Camilla Roholm's looks and moves invite comparisons with CSS' eccentric and elastic frontwoman, Lovefoxxx, but Little Tremors' sound owes more to the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeah's or The Long Blondes. Sassy, hyperanimated and a born performer, Roholm has little interest in the traditional physical boundaries of the stage as she clambers wide-eyed onto the barrier at the front of the crowd. It's a tight performance from the band... and after a spontaneous conversation with audience members in Swedish, the multi-talented singer introduces 'Kitty Kat' and proves that her lungs work equally well whether standing, bent-double or horizontal. Those legs are surely a MAPS highlight….SANDMAN MAGAZINE"
“…Little Tremors arrive to give us all a smack in the chops. Their frontwoman is a roaring, snarling, passionate superstar that women want to be and men want to know. Rocking in the same way that early Riot Grrrl rocked, they bash out super-charged heavyweight punk to which there is little resistance. Nobody envies Walton Hesse having to follow that…HIGH VOLTAGE”
