DANANANANAYKROYD
Just when you thought this Glasgow sixsome couldn’t get any more frenzied, they go and whip up an alt.punk racket like this. ‘Pink Sabbath’ explodes into our lives straight off the back of superb mini-LP ‘Sissy Hits’, propelling itself at breakneck speed to the top of the Tracks pack by yelping and hollering its demented heart out. It’s brilliantly noisy – check out the gargantuan combo of duelling drums and squalling riffs – and clever, catchy and effortlessly joyous to boot. Oh Danan…, if only we could say your name properly, we’d be shrieking it from the rooftops right now. NME

"Steeped in the nervy new wave of the late 70s, this is a fine exercise in minimalism"- Q Magazine
"Nottingham's most recent local boys doing good. Expect to hear throbbing guitars, stadium-sized choruses and a sound so anthemic the likes of Mark Burgess and Carlos Dengler would be proud." - Drowned in Sound
