Fender Stratocaster Silver Series (sunburst, made in Japan) signed by the original line-up of Feeder
I'm selling my Fender Squire Stratocaster that's served me well over the years, but I now play bass guitar in my new band and need the money!
The guitar was signed by the original line-up of Feeder in 1999 in Cardiff which included Grant Nicholas, Taka Hirose and the now deceased Jon Lee (RIP). It was signed just after midnight in Cardiff Virgin Megastore on the day Yesterday Went Too Soon was released. I laquered over the black permanent marker signings to preserve their integrity. The signatures can be seen in the images on Gumtree.
I just got the guitar serviced for £60 with attention to the adjustment of the truss rod, bridge saddle height, nut height, intonation and brand new strings.
The guitar is in good condition and I've never had any problems with it. It's got a few small nicks, and wear on the neck, but all aesthetic.
The guitar was made in Japan in 1990, with 21 vintage style frets, 3 single coils ceramic pick ups, master volume, 2 tone controllers, 5 way selector, black pickguard, heavy Basswood body, s,s,s routed, fat maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, serial number at the front of the headstock (Q001467), glossy polyester finish with sunburst colour effect, vintage style synchronized tremolo, cast Gotoh machine heads, truss rod adjuster at the headstock and one butterfly string guide.
The guitar, is similar in design to a Standard MIJ Strat. The guitar was produced for the non US market between 1990 and 1995.
