PLUMMER'S WORLD SANGUINE REPORT:
World Sanguine Report (Featuring three members of Bilbao Syndrome) were forged together to sound the notes penned by Andrew Plummer. Featuring innovative musicians from both the London and Leeds; World Sanguine Report form a frightening and formidable ensemble; strength and beauty, heavy as lead. Plummer who "is quite clearly a deranged swamp beast trapped inside the body of an Englishman." (Wrath Records) pens music that reinterprets musical genre through juxtaposition of compositional techniques, cut throat improvisations and song. Drawing on a wealth of influences (Kagel, Scelsci, Beefheart, Messiaen, Waits, Patton to name a few), the result is a violent, beautiful journey through the under growth of 'gauzlin web stuck stick'.
Personnel:
James Allsopp (Reeds)
Alex Bonney (Trumpet)
Matthew Bourne (Keys)
Tom Greenhalgh (Drums)
Dave Kane (Upright Bass)
Andrew Plummer (Vocals)
Chris Sharkey (Guitar)
‘Plummer makes a deep, dark jazz infused blues underpinned with a beating (or should that be beaten and bloody) heart of punk. Simply magnificent.’ (Drinkmilk)

MINGHE MORTE:
Minghe Morte (Featuring two members of Bilbao Syndrome) over the past year have been heard on Gilles Peterson's BBC Radio 1 show and Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone. Musically bouncing between garage-house, speed-punk and death-jazz they offer up “an intense, scatological burst of violent jump cuts and vein-busting skronk”… “gore-spattered car-crash jazz” (Daniel Spicer, Jazzwise) This their London debut, Minghe Morte will be opening the night's shenanigans.
Personnel:
Chris Bussey (Drums, Electronics)
Christophe de Bezenac (Reeds, Electronics)
Colin Sutton (Guitars, Electronics)
