PLUMMER'S WORLD SANGUINE REPORT:
World Sanguine Report were forged together to sound the notes penned by Andrew Plummer. Featuring innovative musicians from both the London and Leeds jazz and new music scenes; World Sanguine Report form a frightening and formidable ensemble; strength and beauty, heavy as lead. Plummer who "is quite clearly a deranged swamp beast trapped inside the body of an Englishman." (Wrath Records) pens music that reinterprets musical genre through juxtaposition of compositional techniques, cut throat improvisations and song. Drawing on a wealth of influences (Kagel, Scelsci, Beefheart, Messiaen, Waits, Patton to name but a few), the result is a violent, beautiful journey through the under growth of 'gauzlin web stuck stick'.
World Sanguine Report will be performing material mostly from Plummer's third album Third One Rises; turning home, returning lost home, lost. Come people and be counted.

James Allsopp (Reeds)

‘Plummer makes a deep, dark jazz infused blues underpinned with a beating (or should that be beaten and bloody) heart of punk. Simply magnificent.’ (Drinkmilk)
