Good morning Southampton and surrounding areas!!

Hi Gang after nearly 4 months of transferring my CD collection to a hard drive with the aim of going digital the end is nearly in site and hopefully I will then have time to start updating my web sites, replying to your messages on time and getting fit (OK 2 out of 3 perhaps!!).
I never ever realised what a task it would be and the bags under my eyes prove it.
Alas the days of lugging big heavy boxes around have to end as my dodgy back has had it and I don't wish to end up paralysed!!
Still enough of my cackling it's another fun packed week ahead (I Hope ) so if you can make it along to one of the gigs this week the Supersonic team will be more than pleased to see you!!

10 years of Supersonic @ The Rhino Club this Wednesday August 13th
Supersonic has been at the Rhino 10 years this week having started on August 12th 1998. We're having a big celebration night in October but as mark of respect this Wednesday (13th) we're giving away approx. 100 free vodka shots on the door (first come first served!!) (it would be more but I'm skint sorry!!)

Many thanks for all the messages (mostly supportive I have to say) regarding my feature-interview in the Echo weekend magazine last Saturday. Can't thank Sarah Jones enough for all her hard work!! It's was also amazing to hear from old friends I haven't seen in some cases for nearly 27 years!!

Last week
Wednesday @ The Rhino brought a welcome glow to MR H as the Recession Sessions really took off in style!! Blinding crowd, great requests and much fun to be had by all. Thank you!!

Friday at The Brook was amazing and packed to the rafters for the Quadrophenia show presented by local superstars Time Bomb. The lads put so much into the show and Matt and I loved doing our Soul Sessions sets through the night!! The Brook is such a top venue and I hope to do some more nights there soon. I haven't heard a chant of
"We Are The Mods" in many a year!!

Saturday at the Dorchester...well you know what it's like!! Funny how it always rains on a Saturday night.
The hours flew by unlike the hangover the next day!! Special shout out to my new friend "B" (cheers for the Rock Lobster shout!!)
