SID DELICIOUS- Electronica with some fine feckled folk influences. Have an 'out there' nay ‘outsider’ sound. Overwhelmingly artful episodes in sonic sass.

KILLER WAVES- First 2 influences listed on myspleen are The Strokes and The Fall, and 'One man crime wave' sounds exactly like that fabulous blend. Perky, rhythmic, full of quirky charm and punky grit. The vocal isn't bad either, sort of swaggering talky style but not a la MES particularly...inspiring stuff.
SPORT- Resolutely American sounding alt-rock from Brighton featuring meaty Sabbathy riffs underpinned by an incisive yet funky rhythm section. If you can imagine Primus with the silly comedy element removed yer there...bit's of this are also very Rage Against The Machine and you could also mention Biffy Clyro but they sound like their having fun (unlike Rage & Biffy) ….Rage and Biffy, love those guys.
THE FUCKING PROSTITUTES- Despite the dodge name this is neat, psychedelic bliss out kit taking in War, Santana and The Doors...lots of slinky jazz chords and funked up slick licks. Nice rough hewn vocal too on songs such as 'Love'.... Proclaim the influence of The Beatles, Stones, Kinks and Velvets but 'Summer in Spain' demonstrates a nifty homegrown [Brazilian] Tropicalia vibe..that's psychedelic bossa to you. And 'Freedom' rocks like a mother, a dirty bass riff and a Led Zep go blissed out garage rock vibe. Love it. Sponsor this band at once, it’s a long way to Sao Paolo-make these guys feel at home!!
