Line Dot Electric Shock w/t Favours for Sailors, Artefacts for Space Travel, The Patty Winters Show
Entry £4 NUS/£5! bottles of beer £1.50! Shots £1
As usual at Line Dot, expect a sonic feast of exciting new music to sink your teeth into, with DJs afterwards playing the best in Friday Mixtape Disco till 2am.
Featuring:
Favours For Sailors – These London-based sailors make summer-friendly powerpop with the jerkiness of Television, the swooning rock of Pavement and the bounce of Vampire Weekend.
The Patty Winters Show – This recently re-united 3-piece profess to be the "most awkward band in London". Their sound has often been called “loser-pop” and their songs boast rallying calls to those who have a penchant for wearing dorky clothes and play with model trains and the likes. As endearing as they are sublime in their harmony drenched art-pop perfection.
Artefacts For Space Travel – These spooky kids are proper hot right now. On the much celebrated Stolen Records (Pete and the Pirates, Lets Wrestle), they make a haunting type of psychedlic rock to get you nodding your head hard.
"Stolen Recordings are a label with an action plan for the UK rock underground, and with bands like Artefacts For Space Travel on their books the future is looking scarily cool." - Rough Trade
