HI Folks hope all's cool with you.
Well the summer weather is rubbish, my van is using fuel like there's a hole in the tank (there may well be actually) and although a lot of us realise the Alternative scene in Soton has gone awol quite simply last Wednesday night has brought the world crashing down on me. And yet Saturday was amazing and I've been interviewed for a nice feature in The Echo Saturday magazine to be printed in next few weeks. It's all doing my nut in!!
Any way although the Rhino has been doing brill this year from my perspective alas the summer is a different kettle of fish. For nigh on 20 years It used to be the busiest time of the year but after last year and with the credit crunch now in full effect a few changes are afoot.

So from next Wednesday July 16th

Supersonic Summer Recession Sessions

This summer it's only £2.00 admission before midnight

Selected Spirits (at least 6) £1.50 all night including Splash.

All pints (yes all pints) £2.00 before midnight-£2.50 after

Fosters bottles £1.50 before Midnight-£2.00 after

Vodka-Red Bull £2.00 all night

Live Bands or guest DJ's upstairs 10pm-11pm (once I have booked them of course)

Wanted guest DJ's (Hip Young Gun slingers with loads of mates preferred, no time wasters please!!)

Wanted bands with own PA and big following. (Again no time wasters please)
This Saturday at The Dorchester arms we have a special Black Kids album launch with album playback at around ten and posters, badges, cd singles plus 2 copies of the album to give away!!

If you can make it down the Rhino tonight or next week I'd really appreciate it so that we can keep the night open during the Summer, not close like so many others do when the students are away.
