PLUMMER'S WORLD SANGUINE REPORT

World Sanguine Report were forged together to sound the notes penned by Andrew Plummer. Featuring innovative musicians from both the London and Leeds jazz and new music scenes; World Sanguine Report form a frightening and formidable ensemble; strength and beauty, heavy as lead. Plummer who "is quite clearly a deranged swamp beast trapped inside the body of an Englishman." (Wrath Records) pens music that reinterprets musical genre through juxtaposition of compositional techniques, cut throat improvisations and song. Drawing on a wealth of influences, Plummer's music once likened to Zorn, Beefheart, Sylvian, Zappa, and Waits in one almighty armwrestle, results in a violent, beautiful journey through the under growth of 'gauzlin web stuck stick'.

World Sanguine Report will be performing material mostly from Plummer's third album Third One Rises; turning home, returning lost home, lost. And Mr Billy Jenkins will be sitting in for the World Sanguine Report finale. A rare opportunity to hear such a line-up. Come people and be counted.

Having released over 40 albums, Billy is best known as a blues guitarist and commentator de nos jours. A master composer and musician. A rare chance to catch Mr Jenkins performing solo, intimate and powerful; before sitting in with World Sanguine Report. MUCKY SAILOR

Mucky Sailor are a father and son duo who make undesirable pop music via piano, synthesiser, drums and vocals. Over their two-year existence many derisive comments have been made about their terrifyingly unremarkable physiques and amateurish on-stage squabbles. Others have employed comparison and rhetoric to describe them as some kind of cross between a Norwegian black metal band, the BBC Radiophonic workshop, the Butthole Surfers and the indulgent prog of Yes, whilst simultanously being 'toweringly subversive', 'a mangled motorway pile-up of noise', and, in perhaps the most significant example of journalistic magniloquence, as having 'many genuine LOL moments'. They themselves will only personally admit to being heavily influenced by the music of Spyro Gyra.

animate:SPACE conceive and produce performances and events, which take place in unusual or non-theatre spaces. animate:SPACE are a multidisciplinary collective of artists, story-tellers, and theatre makers, who are dedicated to infusing life into stagnant and forgotten spaces in the city.

Keep your wits about you for 'SPILLAGE', a terrifyingly immersive performance which invites its' audience to take a seat in the dreaded dentist chair. Pushing the limits of fear and tolerance, the performance experiments with the human skull and mouth cavity as a sound box. Part visual theatre / part back-street dentistry, this is a unique interactive experience not for the faint of heart.
