Made in Deptford Festival
This weekend!
There is lots of live music happening for free all over the weekend, on the streets, in the arms and the birds nest.
South Eats London are putting these good people on
We'll be enthralled and entertained by the spiky wordplay of Stuart James, rollicking pop from The Tenets, dark indie textures from Tape The Radio, reworked electropop glory from The Cop On The Edge Soundsystem and post-punk-chop-chop from Dora Brilliant. Plus rare solo acoustic sets from Jacob from Knots We Tie ("continu(ing) to nip at Fanfarlo's heels in the 'most beautiful London folk-act' stakes' ) and Sarah from Batrider ("With a belly full of acidic insight but a heart full of hopefulness, Batrider's Tara is easily the independent album of the year." A Fine Line Magazine (Australia)). With Live Art Attack from The Blue Light District, all soundtracked by our DJ Tag Team Three Men and a Little Lady. Fun? YES!
