Stars Of Aviation
Citing their influences as “English and French folk music and pop music of the 60s”, the nine piece Stars Of Aviation gently trace a line between the Ladybug Transistor and The Lucksmiths. They also feature a bassoon player and someone on violin and gongs – more gongs and bassoons in pop, say we! Their gorgeous 'Marie Et L'Accordeon' featured on 'The Kids At The Club'.

Brontosaurus Chorus
How can you not adore a group called Brontosaurus Chorus? Featuring HDIF regular and Pop-Art mastermind Scooby Dom, t'Chorus have a host of instantly lovable songs - traces of B&S, Hidden Cameras, the runaway day-glo pop of Tullycraft, and the sense that here's a band that knows how to leave you smiling.

The Rocky Nest
In their own words: "Imagine Belle and Sebastian wandering into a dodgy ’massage parlour’ to be greeted by the lovely Felicity Kendall from ’The Good Life’... but she’s dressed in Lou Reed's gimp suit and brandishing a whip. She turns to you and asks 'What services do you require?' Open mouthed and somewhat shocked you reply, 'I want it all Felicity, I want POP, FOLK, ROCK, PSYCH, TWEE, COCKROCK, THE WORKS!!! ... but I want it cheap please'." Blimey.
