THE SLEEPING YEARS UK album launch show 9th June
To celebrate the UK release of their debut album 'We're becoming islands one by one' on Rocketgirl, The Sleeping Years are playing a show at the 12 Bar Club in London on the 9th June.
They will be appearing as a duo with acoustic and cello, and as a full 4 piece band, playing tracks from the album and the three previously released EPs.
Support comes from fellow Rocketgirl act Sam Kills Two and the wonderful Catriona Irving.

Press:
'his voice breaks exquisitely between hope and despair in songs that the acoustic guitar was invented for'
The Guardian
'a one-man show that owes his lilting metaphysical lyricism to the likes of Nick Drake, Elliot Smith and John Martyn. It's good to know that there are people like him out there'
Dazed and Confused
'Just as Sufjan Stevens has been moved to celebrate the quirks and character of the United States, so Dale Grundle is devising his own charts, full of wonder, dread and reverie. Can't wait to see where he takes us next.'
Stuart Bailie (BBC Radio)
‘bloody good, plain perfect for the sun-dazzled days of early summer’
The Lipster
'A truly lovely piece of work chock full of joyful instrumentation and evocative imagery. 4.5 out of 5'
Subba Cultcha
’Engagingly mournful, melodic songcraft'
