Supersonic this week from DJ HAmmy in Southampton. Alternative nights since 1980!!
HI everyone hope you all had a cracking bank holiday weekend!!
Another fun packed week ahead starting on Wednesday at the Rhino Club where down in the Bass-ment we feature the return of Vinyl Messi, Southampton's freshest Drum'n'Bass showcase. It's their end of year summer party so should be a cracker!!
DJ 3:Flow is back upstairs with his D'N'B set and please remember I'm always looking for new 15 minute of fame guest DJ's so give me a shout.
So far the new cd's players have proved that it isn't always my fault when the CD's start skipping or refusing to play. Just wish I had the cash to replace the old ones earlier. As the uni year comes to an end I'd really like to thank all the regular students who have finished for good now. I'm gonna miss you all, you know who you are.
Next week I'll be meeting up with the Rhino team to plan ahead for the rest of the year including freshers time and how to react to the impending reopening of Ikon/Oceana or what ever it is called now. If you have any constructive ideas on how I can improve or freshen up my night I'd love to hear from you. I definitely need a couple or more regular photographers to get the gallery's rolling again!! Oh and I fully intend to go back to college to update my web site skills my site is old and in need of a radical update.
This Saturday at the Dorchester Arms we have various promotional items to give away for the new Johnny Flynn album 'A Larum' and Andy Burrows (Razorlight drummer) 'Colour of My Dreams' album plus I'll be spinning a few tunes from both albums early on.
