HEATH! (folk metal)
"Stephen Heath is like a young Willie Nelson in a punk rock band. This is the CD I should have been waiting on the edge of my seat for. It blew me away.It fell out of the sky and into my ears from the gods of rock." (no fi magazine.com). The return of the LA rock'n'roll legend to London town. This man has won the deep affection of music fans with his hard work ethic and the full-on personality exuding on stage. This is pure, electrifying, comic, soulful but above all honest. And it is this communication that magnetises audiences - you know that he is THE DUDE, and truly ALIVE.
As a band, HEATH! is David Rhee and Stephen Heath, an amplified acoustic guitar and drums duo from Echo Park, California. For this May UK tour, Adam from art rock faves, Bretton, will do the honour on the drums.

GOD LOVE YOU FOR A LIAR (post-pop rock)
"There's no doubt that GLYFAL are completely brilliant." - MUSICOMH.COM
Lyrical contradictionsdelivered with the kind of panache and zeal associated with STARS. "What they have in their DNA is ideas - and they shoot 'em out like fireworks... " (artrocker). Provincial boredom and dead-end jobs provide a prosaic backdrop for tales of love, death, obsession and alienation. "With the lusty, androgynous melodic bent of Suede at their most c ocksure, a chorus Morrissey would be envious of and some mightily impressive riffing...these boys will go far, and deservedly so!" (subba-cultcha). Owing just as much to Kate Bush, they fluctuate between soaring pop melodies, calloused punk, genuine drama and passion – all delivered with the collective debonair strut of a band on the verge of great things. http://www.myspace.com/godloveyouforaliar
Canadian tunesmiths, VOLCANOLESS IN CANADA, are in the UK for shows at this year Great Escape festival (and a rock'n'roll holiday in Costal del Thames). ViC's sound strives to combine precise rhythms and intricate melodies with high-paced energy and the sonic dynamics of a triple guitar assault. Influences include Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, and Jimmy Eat World among much else. The resulting spectrum embraces elements of rock, alternative, folk, country, punk and dance. With their intense, passionate, live performance earning them a string of sell-out shows at home, their british adventure begins here...

DEXY (country punk acoustica). The enigmatic Dexy loves music deeply, it's reflected in the beautiful melodies of instant infection that have created the start of a dedicated following for these potential popular music standards. The debut single, 'Waiting For An Accident' won great acclaim: - "Joyous...should see him rise to ascendancy" (Drowned In Sound), "Finally: a British singer-songwriter you don’t need to be ashamed about" Sprawled Magazine. It also earned international interest, nods of respect from Elliot Smith's band, The Spinto Band and a request from The Wedding Present to support them recently. Dexy's charisma makes his live sets an engaging experience. Adding another dimension to the performance of his songs, Dexy often plays with his backing band, The Hand Me Downs. Their chaotic, presence is also not to be missed. “They land firm-footed and fully formed as “Britain’s best new country punk band” (RockLouder)
