Supersonic this week from DJ Hammy in Southampton
Hi everyone
Here we go with another week in the life of a middle aged man who wishes he was still 19.
Any way just like to say thanks to all who made it out last Wednesday and Saturday. It used to be the case that the student holidays equalled bigger crowds than normal, but for the last few years that has changed so I can't complain how things have gone over the past few weeks . In fact I'm very positive for the future despite the present climate where lot's of clubs and pubs are having a very tough time of it or even closing down.
Last Saturday at the Dorch became so busy after 11pm it took me by shock so I'm sorry if I didn't play all or even some of your tunes. Hey I'm only human after all.
Oh if a member of Junks street team tell you the Rhino is closed please tell 'em to (censored!!)
Respect also to all the kids and adults even who attended the Solent Youth Volunteers event last Thursday at the Solent Suite.I arrived ready to a Saturday at the Dorch style set but no chance!! it was chart all the way but I really did enjoy the night. (I do worry our youth is being brain washed by pop idol though)
Six Nation State also played and they really are a great live band.
It's sixties time again this Wednesday in the Rhino Bass-ment with Psych Simon or Simon Psych (I'm never quite sure) and Nicky T is back as my guest DJ upstairs with his unique mix of drum'n'bass meets alcohol vibe!!.
