Andy quirk presents his first Hits of the Near Future on a Friday in Camden with a lineup of top quality up and coming rock, acoustic and dark pop. Indie rock n' roll DJs play before and between bands, with an alt/metal club following into the small hours.

Madamawitch step in at the last minute to replace Revolution as the night's headliners. Dark atmospheric rock with a subtle dance edge. Think Moloko meets something altogether more sinister. Radio 1 support has set them on their way to a truly great 2008. More than ably supporting are Brenda, a Bournemouth group on national tour who draw influences as far reaching as Godspeed! You Black Emperor and PJ Harvey. After their first single, The Coldest Geometry, made single of the week/month in publications including Organ, Gigwise and Subba-Culture their future is looking bright. Evi Vine are also on national tour and has been recently nominated for an INDY Music Award. Dark and hauntingly acoustic.
