last show at 10pm tonight!
The last ’I Hear a New World’ of the current run is tonight (Monday 17th March) at 10pm UK time on www.freshair.org.uk. But fear not, as you can hear a short podcast featuring the Unsung Hero from 3rd March, Adam Gnade at http://milo_mclaughlin.podomatic.com
and if you subscribe you can be updated automatically when new episodes go online - the next one will feature some of the best local music we’ve had on the show and should be available sometime in April.
Last week’s show
Chris Bathgate of Edinburgh band Sans Trauma came into the studio to choose some tracks * and chatted about his time touring the US playing bass with Arab Strap. Our resident expert in obscure gems, Digital Plamf, chose a little known Fife band as his Unsung Heroes of the week, and on top of that we had Jonathan Richman trying to steal a girl from her stoner boyfriend and a terrifying stalker song from UK antifolk nutter Paul Hawkins. And perhaps pushing the boundaries of radio too far our comedy song of the week was a controversial but celebratory ode to gay sex from The Frogs!
