Now + Support, Tues 25th March, Camden
Comrades,
With the music industry tottering on the brink of final collaspe under the weight of it's own contradictions, the inevitable triumph of Teatime Treats/Rip This Joint-ism draws ever closer. On Tuesday 25th March 2008 another glorious chapter in our struggle will be written as we stage another evening of revolutionary music at The Constitution in Camden, Londongrad.
All bands appearing are of course equal but the most equal will be Now, a shifting collective that have toured with former Can vocalist Damo Suzuki and have been championed by Minutemen/Stooges veteren Mike Watt. The Psyche Out Musikland Big Band are resolutely K-Pop and categorically Jazzcore. Action And Action bring the essence of punk and Emo ruthlessly purged of all fascistic so called "goth" elements. Finally despite captalist running dog propaganda to the contary, The Reactor Core is Splendid will not be appearing having been suppresed for counter revolutionary, deviationist, shoegazing tendencies and if fact never existed in the first place. Rip This Joint DJs will also be in attendance to enforce enjoyment.
Obviously free admission is the ultimate goal but during the interim transistional period a temporary charge of 2 quid will have to be imposed on all workers. The Constitution, 42 St Pancras Way, Camden, NW1 0QT, doors: 7.00pm. Near Camden tube and Camden Road overground plus 29,253,214 & 46 buses.
