YOUTHMOVIES
Based in Oxford, Youthmovies have been kicking around the underground circuit for what seems like an age now. Adored by fans and critics alike, Youthmovies create a practically undefinable sound with guitars, bass, drums, vocals, trumpet and synth. Melding a multitude of elements including post-hardcore, math-rock, post-rock, prog, electro and at times sheer pop songwriting, they push boundaries by making some of the most forward thinking music around. Having released records with Fierce Panda and Vacuous Pop, the band are now signed to Drowned In Sound (home to Martha Wainwright, Brett Anderson, Jeniferever, Metric...) and release their long awaited debut album 'Good Nature' this month. Youthmovies are incredibly good live (as tours with 65daysofstatic, Foals and many more have proved), so don't miss out on what is sure to be a special performance by a special band on the last date of their tour.

Four passionate performers creating math-pop gems in the city of Leeds. Wintermute released their debut single last year through Children No More, have an EP on the way through On The Bone, and won Futuresound '07.

GLISSANDO
Beatiful, mellow, ambient and experimental music from the city of Leeds. Glissando have released records with Gizeh, and have played with the likes of Stars Of The Lid.
