Introducing the Manchester based singer songwriter George Agan (pronounced A-gan)
His career started in the folk scene across Manchester and Cheshire. His influences range from Dylan to Oasis, Lou Reed to the Jam and Van Morrison to the Arctic Monkeys. These influences enable him to craft wide ranging songs from hard edged Rock and Roll to tender love ballads with a repertoire that breaks the mould of the modern singer-songwriter. The songs you will find here are just a small part of his growing songbook.

Nick,Iwan,Jack,Michael............Nu-Manchester supergroup featuring members of The Cardinals, Haven and Bauer!!!
We are The Sticks….we are based in Rochdale/Heywood in the Lancashire area! Our band consists of Tom (Guitarist/Vocals), Poppy (Vocals), Andy (Lead Guitar), George (Bass) and James (Drums) We originally formed in July 2007 and began recording our first song ‘make you mine’ in August 2007 which was very popular amongst the locals!! So much so we performed our first gig in our hometown in September and things have grown since! We have performed at The Castle in Oldham supporting local band Bye Bye Johnny, the Music Box twice and various other venue’s in the Greater Manchester area! The pinnacle so far has to be supporting The Courteeners at the Ruby Lounge Christmas Party in Dec 2007 and hopefully we can grow to a stage where bands will be supporting us!!! We will be appearing on XFM uploaded very shortly and even Channel M are looking to get us on so we must be doing something right!! Please feel free to add us and ask us any questions about our music! Even offer us a gig or two!! Oh and don’t be afraid to tell your friends about us! We do have a demo of the tracks on our page so if you like what you hear, please contact us and we will let you know how you can get your mitts on them! Its been a pleasure…..
The Sticks are comin'!

Alex McCann - Designer magazine:
“Must see band The Sticks headline our latest show, if you missed them at ITC get in now before they go massive. The Arctic Monkeys meets Abba”
