March 7th sees discerning pop culture commentators TheLIpster.com pitch up to curate their first Girl Friday night as part of the regular Friday Tonic series at The Front Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Given their credentials, TheLipster.com knows a thing or two about putting an essential line up together. Edited by Jude Rogers (Guardian/Word) and Rebecca Nicholson (NME/Dazed/Observer), this sassy new pop culture site has lent its name to line ups featuring such rising stars as Those Dancing Days, Thao, Dawn Landes, Errors and Sportsday Megaphone.
Girl Friday as programmed by The Lipster.com will feature live sets from Monade (Stereolab's Laetitia Sadler and Marie Merlet), Piney Gir, Catherine Anne Davies – Emerging Artist in Residence at Southbank Centre - and Docker MC + DJ sets by thelipster.com and George Pringle.
