At this Electric Storm we’ll be descending into an Expressionistic abyss of Teutonic disco, ultra-clipped precision electronica and Krautrock grooves with live performances from Clark ( Warp Records - performing his new album Turning Dragon released Jan 28th ) Khan and Electronicat. There’ll be slivers of sleaze from the salons of Berlin, bleeps, pops and glitches galore and a haunting live soundtrack to the classic film masterpiece The Cabinet of Dr Caligari from Minima. The effects of this fabulous psychotic drama will no doubt be aided and abetted by the return of our infamous Absinthe Parlour which will itself be drenched in a delirious panorama of Weimar inspired visuals. A salon in more than one sense, Charlie Le Mindu - hairdresser to Berlin’s finest hipsters and resident stylist at White Trash and Peaches’ notorious RIO club - will also be on hand to clip and tweak those of you who may need a post-Valentine’s touch up and there’ll be bespoke nibbles and German delicacies and truffles.
