Live gigs and indie clubs should be awesome. They should present the best new live bands followed by tunes to make you dance. They should be held in quality venues with nice staff and an easy going atmosphere. The bands should complement each other. The DJs should entertain, surprise and, god forbid, take the odd request. This is Disco Hurts, with bands worth watching and the best indie rock n' roll from the last three decades to dance to 'til late.

The Bands...
Hailing from Essex, Missing Andy have been making regular raids on London since their appearance on T4's Mobile Act Unsigned. Mixing dance beats, rock, spoken word and no nonsense charm these boys ram second album Prodigy down the throat of contempories like Audiobullys and The Streets.

I Love Audrey popped their festival cherry at Bestival this year. An electropop band traveling over from the Isle of Wight, musically they fuse Sugarcube's style with the four to the floor ethic of Goldfrapp.

Opening are Language, a new London trio who've so far attracted the attention of Rob Harder (Baby Shambles) and sound tracked a porn movie! Mixing angular indie rock with a strong dace ethic be there early to catch them before everyone else.

Your DJs for the night are Andy quirk and Meli, supported by retro computer game visuals on the projector and a laser light show!
