Exit to Wave hand-picked by Boy Kill Boy to open Betsey Is Five Festival
Exit to Wave have been picked by Boy Kill Boy to have the dubious honour of opening the Betsey Is Five Festival at the Betsey Trotwood on Monday 26th November next week.
The festival has been set up to celebrate 5 years of gigs at the Betsey Trotwood, with various bands and clubs curating different nights of the week, upstairs and downstairs every night, from Mon 26th to Fri 30th. Boy Kill Boy are choosing the bands for the opening night downstairs, with Tessellators, Kaiko and Cheap Hotel also on the bill. Danielle Ward's Freakshow comedy night is on upstairs with Richard Herring and a host of other briliant comedians.
The whole festival is in aid of Amnesty International, a cause worth getting your arse into gear for in itself. But there's loads of amazing stuff to watch every day so it's worth every penny. It's £5 on the door, no guest list. But you can gain entry to the festival for the entire week and you only have to pay once.
Exit to Wave are on first at 8pm, so make sure you're not late!
