CALL FOR SCOUTS!!

Hi

We are a small/medium sized north London indie label with a 20+ year history with our own studio and associated publishing company, and we are looking to take on some new musicians/bands
We really need a few A&R scouts to keep us on the pulse and on the lookout for really different and interesting musicians and bands wanting to record/release etc. We are an eclectic label and our current stuff includes improvised psychedelic, spoken word, punk-folk, post-rock/electronic and lots of other silly terms.

We’re interested in both underground and stuff that could be really popular, but that is still “weird and wonderful”. If we don’t get excited by the music, it doesn’t go very far...

Scouts get free promos and guest list to gigs/events by association with the label, and it’s a good experience to get involved in independent music. We can also reimburse postal and some travel expenses

We’d like people who are into a broad range of music, want to champion truly original stuff to counteract the manufactured radio-fodder that passes for “the alternative” usually, and who have enthusiasm and time for going to some gigs and snooping around.
