November's coming Pop Klubb is also our first birthday party! We'll be giving away free badges on the night, and posting a specially compiled Swedish indiepop compilation to all those on our mailing list to celebrate a year of the indiepop Social. On the night as we are in birthday mood, we will be playing a few cheesily birthday-associated tunes, but more importantly (despite a slightly tedious thematic link here-apologies!) we are using the occasion to celebrate 21 YEARS since THE INCEPTION of the infamous NME C86 tape and the scene that has influenced the last 21 years of great indiepop. (obviously we know there are also influences to the scene before then, Orange juice anyone?).

Please let us have your FAVOURITE INDIEPOP TUNE FROM THE LAST 21 YEARS, and provided it's suitable and dancefloor-friendly we'll guarantee to play it! Whether it be Bearsuit or the Sea Urchins, Jens Lekman or the House of Love, we want to hear from you- so get your requests in now......

Dont worry we'll also be playing our usual side-dishes of 60s girl group and Swedish sounds too!
