"tawk this way" - one more act wanted for saturday
Dear All,
Message from George below...
Basically we're looking for one more act to replace Plosives (as Youthmovies are on tour and Andrew hasn't learnt how to perform the tunes live yet) on Saturday if you have any perfect suggestions, ideally something spoken word'ish or rather literate or electronica or if you may be that suggestion yourself. Please contact george via her myspace or me ( sean@discontempt.com ) and please feel free to pass this around.

Okay, so...This is a little doo that myself, Adam Gnade, Dockers MC and Sean at Drowned In Sound have arranged for Notting Hill Arts Club on Saturday afternoon. It runs from four to eight pm and is totally free entry so there's really hardly any excuse if you're in London. I recommend finalising a shopping trip at portabello with some Spoken Word.
The thing is, we have room for another person on the bill, so if you are in a band that would suit the bill then get in touch and we will put you on if we're interested. You won't get paid. However, what's money when you're changing the world, hey? Equally, if you know anyone that would be any good, get in touch.

...to see the other artists. Adam is over from the states, so get in while you can, he's brilliant. You should also contemplate photobucket-ing the flyer and pimping it out if you're unemployed and bored of This Morning. I am, but Philip and Fern taught me that it is unnecessary to sterilise your baby's bottle after 8 months of life today for which I am eternally grateful.
They are also telling me that knee high boots are a genuine fashion staple and will never go out of fashion.
Just updated arts blog. Got Polaroids of Debbie Harry in the flesh, so go have a look!
