This event will be filmed for future satellite broadcast on The Factory Unsigned on Open Access TV (Sky 262)
A five band bonanza plus special guests and Resonance FM dj support on this very special, celebratory night, of all things musical and noisy from electronics to folk, punk to rock.
Hang on to your souls for dear life and get ready to rock as art rocking, body bruising, Mystery Meat headline after a spectacular run of, 'not to be missed,' London dates since their initial conception only 4 months ago. This tyrannical trio, made up of ex 'Ikara Colt' bassist, Tracy Bellaries, Blood Line front man Alex Lindsay and ex-Beach Buggy, Adrain, take no prisoners with there all out scuzzy guitars and thunderous drums, a recording of which is set for summer release 2005 when they also headline instead of supporting Juliette Lewis and The Licks Miss this at your peril.
Next up on this ass shaking soiree, we're extremely happy to have Strokes produced C33X on board, whose recent Hollywood show had Morrisey declaring, 'fantastic,' and why not? the band is made up of four of the most talented musicians in the UK today with sisters Chesca and Becca playing in Boy George's side project, 'The Twin.' This is, 'Classic Ziggy with a side order of Led Zeppelin,' according to Q Magazine and you're gonna love it!
Satisfied? No? OK? Then! straight out of Slovakia, the legendary live electronic outfit, Abuse, are ready to bang hard as hell after show stealing performances at last year's SXSW in Austin TX. Armed to the teeth with fresh new material and an esteemed back catalogue including music from Nov 2004's critically acclaimed, 'The Great Outdoors,' on Dreaded Records, electrics, drums, dex, bass, anything goes on stage to make this band a really special performance.
And we're not finished there, far from it; the beautiful and multi facetted Tiz will be performing tracks from her new album, 'Fall For Me,' which she recorded with Jeremy Stacey and Dedi Maddem of Zero 7. This Italian/Hungarian singer, songwriter and musician first released on Labrador back in 2000 under the guidance of Posies and Big Star producer Jon Auer to much praise, so expect an endearing, layered and exceptionally infused performance of musical styles and influences interspersed with more than a hint of enigma.
Finally, be prepared, very prepared. In a rare show, art/sonic ensemble, 'Le Couteau Jaune.' will lead you down a very dark and sinister path from which you'll probably never return.
