The Sleeping Years is the new project for ex-Catchers singer-songwriter Dale Grundle.
The first Sleeping Years EP, ‘You And Me Against The World’, was released in March 2007 and was a huge success particularly in France where it was played on national radio and received great reviews in all the major magazines - even the lead track appeared on a cd sampler with Rolling Stone magazine. All the songs on 'You and me against the world' were written, played and recorded by Dale at home. The EP also features recordings of Dale's father and of the world outside his house.
‘Setting Fire To Sleepy Towns’ is the second in a trilogy of limited edition cds. Once again recorded by Dale at home, this time the music features different instrumentation to the debut with synths, theremins, melotrons and electric guitars appearing alongside the acoustic guitar and piano.
