THE HOT PUPPIES
"..their dark zombie girlband surf tunes ooze that seductic danger scent that made you want to snip locks of mullet off of nick cave - the waltzer-pop harpy-wail of new single, terry, that sounds like throwing muses at a satanic hoedownpuppies, like cujo then. and hot, like brimstone." mark beaumont - nme
"..the hot puppies are a hard-rocking band with balls, who still manage to sound like they should be playing a smoky jazz club somewhere. or even a honky-tonk: plenty of tremelo guitar and a closing number, how come you dont hold me no more?, that recalls hank williams, why dont you love me like you used to?, gives the set that country tinge."
artrocker
"..say hello to the new pulp." the guardian
LLAN CLAN
Young Blaenau Ffestiniog multi lingual 5 piece, and another Adam Walton favourite.
'Llan Clan-where the women are women, and the men do as they're told...or else!'
DJ FUZZYFELT
THE DARLINGTON JACKS
Merthyr's finest grrrl punk, rock export.
THE PROMISE THEORY
"It was on the stage at Blaengarw Workmen's club that The Promise Theory made their stunning debut, enchanting the crowd with an inspiring ethereal metal / rock sound after only forming previously that week. The four girls met during a rock project based in Blaen Garw in the Bridgend Valleys – GIRLZROCK. The Promise Theory have since evolved and have established a unique sound with the introduction of a new bassist in April 2007 completing the line up."
