The Sailplanes
The Sailplanes are agressively and wonderfully different. They eschew bass in favour of two very different sounding, loud guitars while Tim and Stacey alternate on the vocal duties. Some songs have the sort of edgy and crazed distortion and noise ... others are simply sublime little pop gems and sometimes they're both. - I Shot The Deputy
Think Neubauten meets Raincoats, from a three-piece.

Pocus Whiteface
The band recently described themselves as "Loud drums, loud bass, loud guitar, some shouting, no metal". They take their influences from bands like Shellac, Fugazi, mclusky, Tortoise and Sonic Youth. Apparently people hear a lot of The Fall in their stuff too.
