GIITCD compilation in Artrocker magazine
Giitcd compilation in artrocker mag!
GIITCD a underground compilation of 18 tracks, is reviewed in this fortnight's artrocker(page 23). In a good review there are mentions for Penny Broadhurst "Jamie T meets the Streets" The Swear "spiky post punk" and Gifthorse "Morrissey esque... drops by to cover the indie quarter."
Whilst The International Karate Plus are called "fabulous" the Shake "a pleasure" and Scottish upcomers Korova "surging and uncompromising" and Akira produce "a frighteningly avant garde creation." The Empty Vessels "rub up and down your leg," while Rose Kemp "soars" and Salvo "take no prisoners" with Customs.
Lee Puddefoot concludes that "If this isn't enough to whet your appetite all monies of the sale of this CD will go to Macmillan Cancer support. So not only do you get this great little piece of plastic to listen to, but also get to book your place in heaven..."
