end of the new @SURFACE NOISE INFINITY FRI 5th NOV
So the first Infinity night was such a success they've let us organise
another one*. Now the night has a name - Surface Noise - and we've chosen a
couple of great bands to share the bill, with the talented 0898z DJing not
only afterwards, but betwixt the noisy bands for added value. Think
art-rock, beautiful dissonance, avant musicianship with a garage mentality
and you won't be far off.

Snippets...
end of the new - Art-school noise meets heavy, doomed soundscapes, EOTN
write brittle, melodic songs which build into full-on fuzz assaults. They
cite Sleater Kinney, Mission of Burma and Desaparecidos as influences.
3 Miles From - "Yearning, edgy, hard rock. Regulars on the London Gig
circuit, with aspirations for worldwide recognition... Catch them before
they blow up and are wall to wall media faves." - Virgin Megastore
October All Over - "suitably loud - falling in line behind the Sonic Youth’s
barricade of overloaded guitars and riff upon riff of screamed, twisted
mess. It’s very satisfying indeed" - Drowned In Sound
The Jealousies - Darlings of the thriving Stoke Newington garage scene play
girl-fronted noisy and dissonant punky pop with ex-Quickspace man on drums.
Hope to see you there,
Tim Webster, end of the new
* okay, on the proviso that 3 Miles From play. To be honest I've never heard
them, but I'm assured they'll be great.
