Hellset Orchestra to London!
Greetings!
May I draw your attention to Saturday 13th November.
The Hellset Orchestra shall be venturing south for the day to frequent the nation's capital.
The Hellset Orchestra are an 8-piece ensemble comprising of organ/vocals, bass, drums, cello, 2 violins, saxophone and a laptop. They provide the soundtrack to a silent theatrical discotheque. Kindred spirits include Queen, Meat Loaf, Boney M, ELO, King Crimson, Sparks to name but six.
'They're scary and they'll rudely force feed their wall of sound to you, but they still leave you charmed and thankful that you've just tasted something so utterly disgustingly delicious that you want more, and God did the crowd want more! The Hellset Orchestra are the most amazing unsigned band I have seen live for years...this band are a must-see.' (www.leedsmusicscene.co.uk)
'A vastly entertaining band seemingly created completely out of sight of any of the current trends
or mores.' (OHM Magazine, Oxford)
'Hellset's dizzying orchestral landscapes contain baroque keyboards, melodramatic vocals, tightly syncopated breaks and furious stop/start dynamics... The result of all this musical chicanery is a glorious racket that is instantly familiar but rarely sounds too much like anyone else.' (www.glasswerk.co.uk)
Saturday 13th November:
By day
Live on the Dexter Bentley Show, Resonance FM (104.4FM) between 12-1pm
