Kids are walking home from school, settling down to Blue Peter and I've got this up to ear-bleeding volume. With closed eyes, I'm wishing I was in a kitchen at a house party, dancing on the worktops. The climax in this song transports me to a 30s swing club, filled with ravers. Jellybass will make you move like a human water bed. They'll make you want to dress up and dance like a fool. It's music for turning up loud and playing to your friends, just to see their faces light up and heads start bobbing when the songs reach their dramatic peaks. This is better than good, this is godlike goodness. Get it, go out and turn to jelly."

Apart from the usual crazy offbeat mix of all kinds of Alternative and some less Alternative tunes Mr DJ Hammy will be welcoming back Nikki who will be your DJ booth assistant for the night. They will be taking your requests, handing out the Lolly's and no doubt trying to pacifying the moaning hoards because of my often erratic & drunken behaviour!!

I have spent more sackfulls of money than a dodgy football agent this week, mainly on new music that you have asked for, so I hope to be playing a few new tunes tonight!!

Having recently had guest spots from the likes DJ's Ziggy and Freeflow I'm thinking of expanding this and calling it
15 minutes of fame.
The idea is to come along and do a specialised set for 15 minutes, though you will need to be a half decent DJ CD or digital only (sorry no vinyl )and make sure the floor isn't emptied when you play. I'll get you some drinks in plus you'll get free entry vouchers as well. If your interested give me a shout (contact details are below)
I think I have guest DJ's tonight but as they don't seem to want to reply to messages no doubt it will be a last minute thing!!??

After a long spell at the Soul Cellar in 2005 and the odd night here and there The Supersonic Soul Sessions night finally has a new home. Simply renamed the Supersonic Bass-ment Sessions it really is the other side of Supersonic
We will be mixing up an upbeat selection to hopefully feed your mind as well trying to get the feet shuffling.
