TALIBAM! is audio terrorism at it's most playful: Synth, drums, vocals and baritone sax with amplified feedback create jerky improv with real, rock balls. It could be called free-jazz, but these guys aren't waiting around for ready-bandied lables. With enough experience under their collective belt already, they know it's just a matter of time before everyone else catches up to what they're doing. Kevin Shea (ex STORM AND STRESS / current COPTIC LIGHT on drums) Mat Mottel on synth and Ed Bear on baritone sax (both of CLOUDS CROSSING) make the sound of day-six insomnia: Moments of visionary awakening - pure perfect morning sunshine, cut-grass night air round buzzing light boxes, the skip of day-time TV, cold-calls, endless coffee-beer-coffee runs, diarrhea and itchy eyes.
"Think Media Dream-vintage SUN RA organ blow-outs locking in with saxophone feedback and a single Plunderphonic-ed KEITH MOON drum fill for 40 minutes." - Brooklyn Life
