Dirty Bombs
'Don't Piss on the Fish' productions brings you a new night of stupendously fresh, exciting, fruity music....on a fucking boat.
'Dirty Bombs'
The Queen Mary (a fucking boat), opposite Temple tube station
Wednesday 3rd November
8.00pm till 2.00 am
Only five nicker.
Live bands (in no particular order)-
Culture Industry (see this 'ere site for confirmation that they're ace)
The Exploits of Elaine (as above!)
twentysixfeet (post-punk chunks of textural guitars and electronics, with off-kilter grooves and soaring vocals)
The Violets (rabid garage-punk filth with sleazy female vocals and buzz-saw guitar lines)
Running order to be decided on the day of the gig via straw-drawing ritual.
Afterwards, the DPOTF DJs will drop some musical bombs of a varied nature until 2 in the morn. Some nice, some groovy, some nasty, some scary. No apologies will be made for the alarming incoherence of the disco selection!
If you're still undecided then email a request for a free cd to dontpissonthefish@yahoo.co.uk as we have a limited number to send out. It will feature one song from each band. Hurry up though!
See y'all there.
