Downstairs in the Bass-ment
This Wednesday 18th October we present
Sotones
(DJ's and promoters)
www.myspace.com/sotones
Featuring live bands
Leisure + support
Upstairs in Mezzanine
Apart from the usual crazy offbeat mix of all kinds of Alternative and some less Alternative tunes Mr DJ Hammy will be welcoming back DJ booth assistant Elsie aka Little Miss My Space who will be taking your requests, handing out the Lolly's and no doubt trying to pacifying the moaning hoards because of my often erratic & drunken behaviour!!
If you would like to help out in the booth give me a shout.
I'll even print you up a special T shirt for the night!!
Important notice
Last week the idiot was back who thinks smashing up the toilets and graffiti'ing every thing is a good idea. Plus we had the moron who thinks stealing items from the club is simply student high jinks. Well you will passed over to the police if caught in the act as I can not afford to lose this night. Please please tell me, a doorman or member of bar staff if you see any one doing this
Thank you.
Guest DJ's
Having recently had guest spots from the likes DJ's Ziggy and Freeflow I'm thinking of expanding this and calling it
15 minutes of fame.
The idea is to come along and do a specialised set for 15 minutes, though you will need to be a half decent DJ CD or digital only (sorry no vinyl )and make sure the floor isn't emptied when you play. I'll get you some drinks in plus you'll get free entry vouchers as well. If your interested give me a shout (contact details are below)
Don't forget Matt will be back at half time doing his mad D'n'B meets Leftfield meets Hip Hop set to get the floor rockin'.

Pama International are more than worthy of the accolade. A shot across the bows for all those dub star arrivistes, with real deal ska and rocksteady explosions causing a fusion of all things good from the various incarnations of reggae".
Catch PI on tour in October...where they be joined by Lynval Golding (The Specials) who will be flying in from Seattle to play the five shows and do some recording.
