LEEDS FESTIVAL GIG!

Dirtblonde are the only Liverpool band playing at this year's biggest rock festival in the UK - the Mean Fiddler Carling Weekend in Leeds, also known as the Leeds Festival.

Dirtblonde are one of the selected few bands invited to play at the new Topman unsigned bands stage, out of hundreds of entries. The new stage, which will be located between the NME and the Carling stages, has an expected audience of a few thousand punters.

Last Monday the band went to Leeds for the Festival press conference, and was interviewed by the NME and other media.

NEW YORK DATES!

Dirtblonde can also confirm their first dates in the US of A. The mini tour of New York City kicks off on 13th September with a Death Disco gig, followed by a 14th Sept gig at hip Piano's Bar and a 15th Sept. date at the well-known Arlene's Grocery. The tour will end back at Death Disco, with an all-ages afternoon set on Sunday 17th September.

Other NYC dates will hopefully be confirmed soon! The promoter at CBGB's said Dirtblonde "rocked" and would try to squeeze us in to play there at the very last weeks of its existence! Dirtblonde could even become the last British band to ever play there! Let's hope it'll happen…
