Peel got off lightly compared to dance guy Dave Pearce, who is due to lose his daytime slot altogether. Also lost to the station is Seb Fontaine.
In good news, Mike Davies' decent The Lock Up show - showcasing punk and hardcore and other such stuff - moves from its current graveyard slot to 9pm! YIPPEE! Tuesday nights will therefore be all about The Rock (TM), what with the established Radio 1 Rock Show starting right after The Lock Up. Also moving forward is Bobby and Nihal's Asian beats show, which'll begin at 9pm on Wednesdays.
Dunno 'bout you, but I'm staying in on Tuesdays from now on...
