Aussie Punk Invasion
mrivers by Martin Rivers March 19th, 2001

Two of Australia's biggest punk outfits are set to tour the UK this summer.

Frenzal Rhomb, dubbed the 'punkest band in the world', and with a tour diary encompassing the likes of Reel Big Fish, NOFX, The Offspring and Rocket From the Crypt, are hitting our shores this April in support of ska-legends Less Than Jake. Despite already playing a three night stand at the Astoria, the Rhomb have added a very special, one-off, headlining show at London's Underworld:

07 April - Nottingham Rock City (w/LTJ)

08 April - Norwich UEA (w/LTJ)

09 April - Manchester Academy (w/LTJ)

10 April - Newcastle University (w/LTJ)

11 April - Glasgow Barrowlands (w/LTJ)

12 April - Birmingham Academy (w/LTJ)

17 April - London Astoria (w/LTJ)

18 April - London Astoria (w/LTJ)

19 April - London Astoria (w/LTJ)

20 April - London Underworld

28 Days, meanwhile, have been making a name for themselves in the UK recently following a string of successful gigs in support of Goldfinger. The skate punk / hip-hop hybrids are in the process of lining up their debut headlining UK tour, with the following dates confirmed so far:

01 May - Bristol Fleece & Firkin

04 May - Sheffield Leadmill

07 May - Manchester Roadhouse

08 May - London Garage
