Rayna has left the band to dedicate her time to her daughter Kayla, and her husband, Morgan Rose of the band Sevendust.
Rayna was quoted as saying "I've decided to leave Coal Chamber so that I can raise our daughter, Kayla, full time. This was a hard decision to make, but is one that Morgan and I feel is important to our lives and our family. I wish nothing but the best for the band, and will always love and cherish the time we had together".
She has been quickly replaced by Nadja Peulen who stepped in for Rayna back in 1999 when she took time out of the band to give birth.
Dez and the band had this to say :- "Rayna has given us the best years of her life. We appreciate all of her hard work and effort and we wish her and her family the best. We as a band support this decision. Family comes first. We will miss her greatly".
The band are currently completing work on their 3rd album, Dark Days (which Rayna is on), set for release in late spring before going on the road in the US for the Jagermeister tour, which commences on March 8th. The band are expected to debut their new material as well as old favourites such as 'Loco' & 'Shock The Monkey'.
