WIN! Pat Graham's Silent Pictures photography book
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 23rd, 2007

DrownedinSound.com has a pair of signed copies of Pat Graham's new Silent Pictures book to give away.

The beautiful collection of photographs features the likes of The Shins, Born Against (pictured), At The Drive-In, Elliott Smith, Bikini Kill, Les Savy Fav, Beat Happening and many more. A photographer of live music for some 19 years, Silent Pictures is Graham's first book.

Graham's work has been used on many album covers and in numerous magazines home and abroad, and his pictures have helped to shape the iconography of an entire underground music scene. Spending plenty of time on the road with a number of acts, such as Modest Mouse, he has been able to capture all aspects of a musician's touring life.

Pat Graham currently lives in London and co-runs the 96 Gillespie Gallery in north London with his wife, Melanie Standage. Check out the gallery's website here.

To win a signed copy of Silent Pictures (unsiged copies retail at £15.00/$22.95 and are available from the 96 Gillespie website - link), simply answer this question:

Modest Mouse, who feature in Silent Pictures, named their most recent album what?
A) We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
B) We Were Drowned Before The Ship Even Sank
C) We Were Down Before The Ship Even Drowned

Send your answer to me via a DiS note - click my author name/here and follow the relevant link - right now, including a full postal address. Winners will be contacted via DiS note on Friday, October 26.

Good luck!
